ROBOMART the new autonomous vehicle that will soon deliver Fruits & Vegetables in Califronie.
Among the many prototypes presented at the world's largest technology show, the CES (Consumer Technology Show) in Las Vegas, ROBOMART has interested a wide audience, producers and distributors of fresh produce but also all consumers.
ROBOMART is an autonomous electric vehicle dedicated to the sale of fresh produce and Fruits & Vegetables. It is equipped with cameras, sensors and an internal refrigeration system that ensures the freshness of the products.
Through an application, the consumer can order the passage of ROBOMART. Upon arrival, the consumer will open the doors and can choose from the available products, then an online invoice will be sent.
According to its designers ROBOMART responds to an unsatisfactory demand until then. According to one study, 85% of Americans say they do not order Fruits & Vegetables online because home delivery is too expensive and because they can not choose the products themselves.
A first fleet of ROBOMART will start this summer in California, which authorized the deployment of autonomous vehicles on the roads from mid-2018.
