Clementine season closes with 41.8 tons exported

The clementine export season in Chile ended in week 32 with a total of 41.832 tons (-39% year-on-year), according to data from the Chilean Citrus Committee.
According to the Committee's president, Juan Enrique Ortúzar, this year the Coquimbo region was deeply affected by drought, which resulted in a huge drop in clementine exports.
Destinations
98.6% of the total exported went to the US, of which 73% was sent to the East Coast (29,928 T), and the remaining 27% to the West Coast (11,330 T). The remaining shipments were exported to Latin America (508 T), Canada (65 T), Europe (0.2 T) and Japan (0.1 T).
