Philiphs Lighting, a major player in conventional and LED lighting worldwide, announces its intention to change the name of its company by Signify while retaining the Philips brand for the marketing of its products.
The company explains this choice by the fact that light is now an intelligent language that connects and gives meaning. "This is another step in our transformation process - our new corporate name is a clear expression of our strategic vision," says Eric Rondolat, CEO of Philips Lighting.
Throughout its history, the company has been at the forefront of many major breakthroughs in the lighting industry. For the horticultural sector Philips offers innovative LED (light-emitting diode) solutions that meet different needs: vegetable production, seedling production, nursery.
