Brazilian Fruit registers a very positive participation in Gulfood, the food industry exhibition which was held in Dubai.
Brazilian Fruit, created by IBRAF (Brazilian Fruit Institute) and Apex-Brasil, has achieved a turnover of 8.5 million USD, 30% higher than the 2012 edition of the trade fair. Thanks to the contacts built by 45 Brazilian companies attending, the turnover is expected to increase further in the coming months.
According to the organizers of the fair, it is expected that the demand for food products in the Gulf countries will grow by 100% by 2020, because of population growth, per capita income higher and a greater number of tourists.
