Prices for strawberries rally in Poland

According to the latest data, wholesale prices for strawberries are approximately 2 times higher comparing to the last year numbers within fruits market of Poland. At the current moment strawberries costs have soared up to 4,30 – 4,90 EURO/kg. It stands to mention that previous season prices comprised only 2,5 – 4,0 EURO/kg. Based on the recent data, due to cold spring weather, supply of strawberries within Polish fruits market is quite limited, which in its turn has triggred prices knock for berries this season in Poland.
