Apples purchasing season has finished in Ukraine

Season of purchasing apples for industrial processing has finished in Ukraine this week. Almost all the apples processing factories have met the purchasing plans till the end of current week. At present moment this kind of apples are being purchased only by several local enterprises. In spite of low demand for the particular kind of fruits, prices for apples still remain quite high –  around 0,9 – 1,4 UAH kg (0,09 – 0,14 EUROkg). According to the latest data, this year season is considered to be rather long, as during the same period last year all the apples processing factories have finished purchasing of fruits even earlier – approximately till  mid of December 2012.
