Fairtrasa acquired Organic Fruit & Vegetable BV

With the objective of strengthening its network and become a European leader.

Fairtrasa announced the acquisition of Organic Fruit & Vegetable BV, the company of import and sale of fruits and vegetables. This acquisition will enable Fairtrasa strengthen its network and become a major player in Europe for the supply of organic fruits and vegetables from fair trade.

The acquired company will be renamed Fairtrasa Holland BV. The Fairtrasa International AG group represents more than 5,000 small producers in developing countries, managing offices in Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Turkey and sales offices in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, USA.
