Many European agricultural and cooperative organizations open their doors to the public in 2017 to bring consumers closer to nature and show them the many benefits of agriculture.

This is a European-wide initiative that will enable consumers to see what farmers and agricultural cooperatives are bringing to society as a whole by preserving the countryside, guaranteeing rural tourism and a wide variety of quality food.

Calendar of open days of agriculture (farms and cooperatives) at national level in 2017/2018:

30 April - 7 May 2017: Austrian Agricultural Week,

19 May 2017: Portuguese Agricultural Day in Schools (CAP),

20 May 2017: Open house for agriculture in Austria,

26 May / 5 June 2017: Open days of dairy farms in the Netherlands,
