CMA CGM joined forces with two new partners to form OCEAN THREE

The company CMA CGM announced agreements with CSCL (China Shipping Containers Lines) and UASC (United Arab Shipping Company).
The alliance "P3" with Maersk and MSC being unsuccessful, the company CMA CGM announces OCEAN THREE, its agreements with Chinese CSCL and UASC UAE.
The French company CMA CGM, the third largest operator in shipping, form a new alliance with OCEAN THREE CSCL (China Shipping Container Lines) No.2 Chinese, and UASC (United Arab Shipping Company), a company of the United Arab Emirates, owned by Quatar in majority.
These agreements concern the Asia/ North Europe routes, Asia/Mediterranean and Transpacific and nearly 130 boats. The goal for the three companies is to rationalize sailings in ports and optimize the loading of ships. These agreements may be operational as early as December 2014.
