Jingold celebrated its 20th anniversary and recorded strong growth in the Spanish market

Successful campaign for the Italian company Jingold® which recorded an increase in its production as well as a strong increase in demand in the Spanish market where the company celebrated its anniversary by promoting its exclusive yellow kiwi with Frutas E. Sánchez , its distributor in Mercamadrid.

 

 

The Italian company Jingold® was founded on Valentine's Day in 2001 and has therefore just celebrated its 20th anniversary. The company now has more than 800 farmers around the world. In Spain, on the occasion of its anniversary, Jingold® promoted its exclusive yellow kiwifruit with Frutas E. Sánchez, its distributor in Mercamadrid. During the 4 days of promotion, the unique characteristics of the Jingold® kiwifruit could be explained to professionals.

 

 

"We have increased our sales in Spain by 20 to 30% compared to the figures achieved in 2019," said Federico Milanese, Director of International Development and Marketing Jingold®. "We feel that now Spanish consumers are starting to know our brand and our kiwis well. For 2020, in the context of the health emergency and the new consumer trends that result from it, we have detected a growth in demand of our products, in particular for the yellow kiwifruit, ”said Moreno Armuzzi, Jingold® sales coordinator for the Spanish market.

 

 

The season was successful for Jingold® which recorded a production increase of around 30% and also for its organic range. Production reached a total of 18,000 tonnes for its varieties of green kiwi, red kiwi and yellow kiwi.

 

 

The company holds the worldwide patent for the Jingold® yellow kiwifruit which is grown on the best production lands in Italy and to which other areas of the southern hemisphere have been added in order to guarantee a constant, reliable and high quality supply. The Jingold® kiwifruit varieties are the result of a natural selection program, developed by international institutes in collaboration with the technical team of Jingold® Italia. Kiwis have a good balance between acidity and sweetness and, grown in both hemispheres, are distributed throughout the year.
