Exports to Europe have increased by +16%

Good performance for banana exports from the Dominican Republic .
The Center for Export and Investment of the country (CEI- RD ) indicated that exports to Europe have risen sharply. Passing from a total value of USD 589.9 million in 2010 to USD 702.1 million in 2013 , an increase of 16%.
It is the Director of the Centre Jean Alain Rodriguez, who gave these figures at the meeting entitled " How to export to Europe." Stating that for Europe, the Dominican Republic is the second largest cocoa supplier and the third largest supplier of fresh bananas .
