Homeplus, part of Tesco retail group is number 2 in South Korea. His competitor offers more stores.
But Tesco managers get a new idea that works.
In a country where people works a lot, where 10 millions people get smartphones, Homeplus offers his customers the possibility to shop while waiting for the subway.
Easy, they set up huge dispalys of products with QR code in the subway. Customers just take a picture of QR code with their smartphone and the products are delivered at their home in few hours (we have not checked that !) according to their wishes.
