Aquitaine region wishes to become the 1st region for the production of Fruit & Vegetable

Performance-oriented project presented by the Propulso association, renamed FLA (Fruits and Vegetable Aquitaine) the excellent network established there 35 years ago.

Propulso plans to make Aquitaine the first French -producing Fruits & Vegetables region. According to the latest rankings in Agreste , the Aquitaine region is second (16.6%) for vegetables behind Britain ( 17%) and also the second ( 12.50% ) for fruit behind the PACA region (23%).

The Propulso project provides $ 300 million investment over 5 years in the strawberries, asparagus , hazelnuts, tomatoes sectors. Among the mentioned priorities: improving techniques and training in new skills ( management and technical) and the development of the ability to anticipate (information, technical monitoring ) .
