ZINGY - the "New Star" of INNATIS presented in Madrid during the Fruit Attraction show

Zingy, Innatis' new club variety, was born after 16 years of selection, testing and development by a team of passionate professionals. Zingy is an apple from eco-responsible orchards with a round shape, almost perfect and a color of a very intense red. It is crisp and juicy with a hint of acidity followed by a slightly sweet, balanced taste on the end.

 

 

 

        The variety was developed by IFO nurseries and has its roots in Anjou, near Angers. Since this year, ZINGY has also been tested in England, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. The INNATIS group has exclusive production and marketing rights for Zingy in Europe. Today 20 hectares are planted in Anjou and Innatis aims to reach 350 ha in Europe in the coming years.

 

 

 

       M Arnaud de Puineuf, Sales Manager at Innatis, has followed this variety since the beginning: "Zingy is harvested early, from the end of August and being a strong apple it can be exported easily. We see in this variety a strong potential and believe in its success especially internationally. The first consumer tests were very conclusive: Zingy is seen as a "new and different" apple and has obtained the 2nd best buy rate among 6 market leading apples! "

 

 

 

      The launch of Zingy at the Fruit Attraction show in Madrid was a success and allowed to discover this variety with its unique taste and attractive color to a wide range of professionals.
