Price for mushrooms is expected to grow up to 30 % in Ukraine

Due to the latest information the main local compost producing factory has been forced to pay penal sanctions (around ).

This fact could cause remarkable rise of retail prices for locally produced mushrooms in Ukraine up to 31% - 35% .

Today the price for Ukrainian champignons within local market is 2,3 EUROkg, but in case this factory stops compost production, the expenses will grow up to 2,88 EUROkg. According to the latest figures Ukrainian producers supply 97% of mushrooms to the inside vegetables market. In case of problems with compost purchasing the amount of mushrooms delivered from Poland, which is the biggest supplier of this kind of products to EU countries, may remarkably increase.
