The political stalemate has triggered a price increase on all food products in Abidjan and other major cities of Cote d'Ivoire.
If the political stalemate in Côte d'Ivoire retains the attention of all media, the Ivorian population should face at a higher price of food .
The price of food increase in Abidjan and other major cities. A kilo of sugar rose from $ 1.25 before the crisis to $ 2.40, a bag of rice from $ 26 to $ 35.
Truck drivers are reluctant to leave and prices of transport for passengers and goods are increasing.
All carriers increased prices to ship fruit and vegetables in Abidjan.
