Waitrose stocks full range of pumkins

UK retailer Waitrose is offering a complete range of pumpkins as Halloween brings a strong increase in demand.

Waitrose has added the Cinderella variety, which is 24 to 40cm in diameter and has a sweet and tasty flesh. They come from Hampshire.

This new variety is offered after the huge success of last year's giant Sumo pumpkin. The range now includes Cinderella, Sumo and Munchkin pumpkins to carve in 3 sizes (S, M, L) and a pumpkin carving kit.

Cinderella pumpkins are sold at £5.99 each, the Sumo giant pumpkins that can weigh up to 40 kg are priced at £25, with the smaller Munschkins at £1.00.
