CASI wants to exceed 13 million kilograms of watermelon and melon

Leader of tomato in Europe, the CASI cooperative also produces watermelons and melons.

In 2013 CASI intends to commercialize 13 million kilograms of watermelon and melon. Watermelons represent 70% and melons 30%. Last year, the cooperative sold 12 million kilograms of these two fruits.

Watermelon "Reina" is a seedless watermelon, with dark red flesh and very sweet taste , medium size between 3 and 6 kg. Melon "Honey" shows a minimum of 12 ° Brix and exceptional taste.
