Kuehne + Nagel continues to invest

The transport and logistics group Kuehne + Nagel continues its investments in perishable cargo sector.

Kuehne + Nagel has announced the acquisition of 75% shares of the company Cooltainer in New Zealand, specializing in transportation and logistics of perishable cargo in the South Pacific.

 Based in Christchurch, the company Cooltainer covers the South Pacific region with offices in Australia, New Zealand and some in Pacific islands. Cooltainer network will thus complement operations of Kuehne + Nagel in the region.

In last January, Kuehne + Nagel has acquired three South American companies of air cargo: Translago SAS and Agencia de Aduanas Excelsia Ltda in Colombia and Mastertransport Sa in Ecuador.
