Rougeline will recover the energy produced by a Veolia biogas plant to heat a new park of greenhouses

Provide heat to the vegetable greenhouses with energy produced from biogas produced by the fermentation of waste.

Rougeline SAS has signed a partnership with Veolia Propreté - literally, Veolia Environmental Services - for a period of 20 years. The idea is to recover the energy produced by a plant of production of biogas, derived from the natural fermentation of waste. The recovered heat will feed a heating network for greenhouses that will be placed in proximity of the site.

A Lapouyade, near Libourne (33), the park of the new greenhouses will cover almost 8 acres. The first plantations will start in December 2014 for the first harvests in 2015. The production of this site can get to 6,300 tons.

SAS ROUGELINE thus confirms its commitment to sustainable development constantly trying to improve the energy balance of its production.
