Italian exports of fresh oranges to The United States are expected to rise in 2005.
This follows a joint effort by Paganini Foods and the Italian ministry of agriculture to promote the consumption of Sicilian pigmented varieties in the USA.
A shipment of about 2,000 tons of pigmented oranges left Italy for the USA in January.
