British supermarket chain Sainsbury has acquired JB Beaumont, a convenience store operator with six stores in the East Midlands region of the UK.
JB Beaumont had sales of £13 million in the last financial year.
This latest acquisition by Sainsburys follows the recent acquisitions of Bells Stores and Jacksons and means that Sainsburys now operates 260 convenience stores in the UK.
