United Kingdom is the key receiver of soft citrus from South Africa.
Last year it received 49% of South's Africa citrus volume (2,7 million cartons) compared to 12% of its lemons (840.000 cartons), 11% grapefruit (1.000.000 cartons) and 9% oranges (4.700.000 cartons).
Generally British market absorbs about 10% of the whole production of South African citrus.
