Metro to extend self-checkouts

The Metro Group is extending its FastLane self-checkouts to 50 of its Real and Extra stores in Germany.
The check-outs will be operative by the beginning of 2005 and follow successful trials at stores in Rheinberg and Ratingen in Germany.
