2 greenhouses are going to produce exotic fruits.
Two greenhouses to Wolhusen in Pre-Alps are going to produce papayas, bananas and mangoes.
The Tropical House, which is extends on 5360 m2 also shelters a restaurant and hopes for 50000 visitors a year.
This realisation has an ecological objective thanks to an unexpected source of heat and to the waste heat.
This heat is used to warm 2 greenhouses of the Tropical House which is going to produce between 20 and 50 tons of exotic fruits a year.
Fruits will be sold on the spot and the surplus will be conditioned in chutney which Coop will market under the naming Swiss Paradise.
