2nd edition of the International Congress of Mango Growers and Exporters

Mexico is the 5th largest mango producer and the world's leading exporter. The association EMEX A.C. organizes for the 2nd time its event International Congress of Mango Growers and Exporters.

 

 

 

EMEX A.C., is the association that represents the Mexican mango in the world. It was set up in 1991 to help mango exporting companies comply with export protocols.

 

 

 

The 2nd edition of the International Congress of Mango Growers and Exporters will take place from 20 to 22 November in Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco). The lectures will provide participants with a better understanding of the mango supply chain and will reveal how to manage the key factors affecting quality and safety. With this knowledge, participants will be able to improve their competitiveness as well as the quality and consistency of fresh mangoes offered to American consumers.

 

 

 

Mexican production has increased through the planting of a wide variety of mangoes. Mexican mango is exported to 28 countries, of which the United States and Canada together purchase 98% of Mexican fruits.
