Without bees, the supply of fruit and vegetables collapses
FJ
This is how the department of fruits and vegetables would look like without the products depending on the work of bees.
A Whole Foods store network in the state of Rhode Island wanted to show the importance of bees for our food. The store has removed all products that depend on pollinators: 237 products withdrawn from the 453 present in the rays, representing 52%.
This dramatic operation shows the consequences of the disappearance of bees and raises public awareness of this problem. The store donates 10 cents per kilogram from purchased vegetables for the protection of bees .
