British imports from Morocco almost triple in value

British consumers are increasingly buying fresh Moroccan produce, according to a report by APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group).
According to the report, British imports of fruit and vegetables from Morocco rose from 158 million GBP (199.8 million USD) in 2018 to 408 million (515.9 million USD) in 2022.
The expansion of these imports from Morocco is even more accentuated during the British winter months. Imports in Q1 2018 reached GBP 60 million (USD 75.8 million), while those in Q1 2023 reached GBP 168 million (USD 212.4 million). A 2.8-fold increase.
