Carrefour would be dividing into three separate companies

The Management Board of Carrefour would consider dividing the group into three separate companies that would allow a separate quotation.
The daily newspaper Le Figaro said that this provision would allow a separate quotation of estate branches and discount stores.
The daily argues that the group Arnault and Colony Capital, owners of 14% of Carrefour, tries to make profitable their investment. The share price rose from 53 € upon arrival in capital in 2007 to 34 € today.
The board scheduled for early March should consider these provisions prior to approval by shareholders in general meeting.
