Asparagus Days in Cesena Fiera, the fair for the entire Asparagus industry

New event dedicated to asparagus, International Asparagus Days will take place from 16 to 18 October 2018 in Cesena. "International Asparagus Days is a sector event that will deepen all phases of the productive and commercial cycle of asparagus, to the point of sale" - says Luciano Trentini, one of the promoters of the event.

 

 

 

"It's a four-part event: an exhibition hall, field tests, technical visits and a program of high level conferences". On the 16th and 17th of October the show welcomes companies coming from all over the world and belonging to the whole sector of asparagus: seeds, small plants, claws, technical means, machines and equipment from sowing to transplanting, from the harvest to the packaging of the product.

 

 

 

"In particular, companies producing machinery and equipment can even present their novelties in a space created for the occasion which is located next to the pavilions of the show and which is divided between greenhouses and field crops: to through a series of real field tests, it will be possible to observe the operation of transplanters, fieldwork machines, harvesters, etc. "- explains Mr. Trentini.

 

 

 

The demonstrations in greenhouses and in open field will take place on October 16 and 17 from 14h to 17h. Demonstration Machines: Field Preparation, Milling, Mulching, Transplantation, Weeding and Treatments, Harvesting.

 

 

 

"We have often considered asparagus a culture of strong tradition; today we must go back on this opinion, the novelties are many!" - says Mr. Trentini - "Thanks to this event, all asparagus producers will be able to find new and useful solutions, such as the creation of new cultivars that will attract even more consumers, or innovative facilities to make this species even more sustainable and to extend harvest periods to have asparagus for several months.
