Spanish fruit and vegetable imports from January to November 2022 show an upward trend, compared to the same months in 2021, according to data from the Department of Customs and Excise Duties.
Spanish fruit and vegetable imports from January to November 2022 show an upward trend, compared to the same months in 2021, according to data from the Department of Customs and Excise Duties.
The value of imports of fruit and vegetables from countries outside the EU in that term reached 2,247 million euros, growing 15% compared to the same period in 2021. The volume of these purchases totaled 1.7 million tons, growing (+2%). Purchases from Morocco totaled 495,795 tons (+10%).
At the same time, purchases from EU countries increased by 15% in value and 12% in volume, standing at 1,125 million euros and totaling 1.7 million tons.
