2014 auspicious for Vietnamese exports should improve further.
In 2014, according to data from the Ministry of Commerce, domestic exports of fruits and vegetables reached a turnover of $ 1.5 billion, against 1 billion in 2013 and 827 million in 2012. The country saw in 2014 the opening of several difficult markets like the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan.
Vietnam's products are now present in 60 markets worldwide, mainly in China, Japan, the Netherlands and Korea.
To reach the goal of $ 2 billion in exports in 2015, the entire sector will focus on the standards of hygiene and food safety as well as the quality of storage.
