Russian surveillance service declined mandarins from China
Due to incompliance with phytosanitary requirements Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Federal Service has banned approximately 25 tons of mandarins imported from China to fruits market of Russia. According to the recent data, in the course of Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, fruits owner provided false certificate of country-producer. As a result, Russian officials prevented mandarins from crossing the country border and consequently fruits were returned back to China. Based on the latest information, Russian Company importing mandarins was sued for negligence.
