WUWM 2018 : World Union Wholesale Market will be organised by MERCABARNA, in Barcelona, Spain.

MERCABARNA, the wholesale market in Barcelona, ​​which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year (Fructidor news dated march 31st), has been chosen to organize the XXXIII World Union Wholesale Markets (WUWM) Congress.

 

 

 

The Congress will be held from 16 to 18 April 2018 and will run at the same time as the ALIMENTARIA fair. This will make Barcelona the world capital of food during this period.

 

 

 

The 2018 Congress wants to focus on social responsibility of markets to society and the environment, with the theme "Markets of the future: responsible and effective". The event will welcome some 300 delegates from the world's largest markets.
