Fyffes enters the pineapple market

Fyffes, the leading fresh produce distributor in Europe, has marketed sweet pineapples under its own-brand and wants to become a major player in this field worldwide. The group would be selling already its 'Fyffestar' pineapples in the USA and in Europe and would have set up a joint-venture with a group in Guatemala.
