Poor kiwifruit production

Greek kiwifruit production seems to be 39% down of the previous season at 45 000 tons in 2001. Indeed, severe hailstorms and strong winds affected fruit set. On the total amount, only 25 000 tons were exported compared with 33 254t and 27 255t for the previous two years.
