Creation of an association for the promotion of melon from La Mancha

The Ucaman, the Castilla-La Mancha union of co-operatives, has created an association for the promotion of melon from La Mancha. Indeed, this region cultivates 12 000 hectares for a production of 300 000 tons of melons, that is to say a third of the national production.
