Italy increased its exports of table grapes to Russia

Exports record of Italian table grapes to Russia.

Italian exports of table grapes to Russia have reached 16,000 tons for the season 2012-2013, an increase of 60% compared to the previous season. This volume is the highest in the last 5 seasons and allows to Italy to move from 10th to 8th place in the ranking of the largest exporters of grapes to Russia.

Russia imported 393,000 tons of table grapes in 2012/13, slightly less than the previous season that had amounted to 403,000 tons. Turkey is the leading supplier of Russia with 134,000 tons of grapes or 34% of Russian imports, following Uzbekistan, Chile, Moldova and Peru.
