Cauliflower international congress in Saint-Pol-de-Léon

Brittany is the first area production of fresh vegetables in France , and for cauliflower the 1 national ranking with 15,500 hectares, 1,150 producers, 135 million heads sold , which 65% for export.

At the heart of the first production area in Saint-Pol-de-Léon (Finistère), an International Congress will take place on 10 and 11 December 2014 with the theme " Cauliflower : the challenges of European production ."

Conferences, round tables and field visits are on the program. Delegates and speakers (200 expected ) , French and European (Italy, Germany , UK , Belgium, etc.) , share the latest technological advances in both breeding in sustainable crop management production and will tackle European economic production issues in the cauliflower sectors in a context of international market.

The first day will focus on the economic and technical aspects of the production, a round table and a technical crossroads . The second will be devoted to field visits , with the regional sector research / experimentation to production to marketing.

Congress organized by Ctifl , Cerafel AOP , in partnership with regional experimentation stations, and CATE and SECL - Earth testing.
