Avozilla, the largest avocados in the world, for sale in the UK

Originating from South Africa, Avozilla have 5 times the size of the standard variety.

These giants avocados called Avozilla, meet in wild form in Limpopo Province and in other African countries, but are very rare in cultivation. The Avozilla sold in Great Britain come from some trees cultivated by Westfalia, one of the largest avocado producers of South Africa.

They have five times the size of the standard variety and weigh up to 1.3 kilograms. They are sold exclusively in Tesco stores at a price of £ 3 a piece.
