Greenhouse cucumbers prices go down in Ukraine

According to the latest information, prices for cucumbers produced in local greenhouses have gone down to 16% during the 2d part of this week. At the current moment vegetables producers from Western part of Ukraine are ready to sell cucumbers at 15-16 UAHkg. These numbers are 13% lower comparing to the previous year figures. Prices for gherkin comprise around 17-18 UAHkg, these numbers are almost the same comparing to the last period figures.At the same time farmers suffer from lack of demand from local wholesale companies.
