More international presence at next Macfrut

Three months before the Macfrut 2011exhibition opens, the number of exhibitors and the amount of exhibition space have already hit their targets.

The 2011 Macfrut will run from October 5 to 7. The show is an important meeting point for the sector, providing an overview of the market and an outline of prospects worldwide. Last year, the show brought together 740 exhibitors and 22,000 trade visitors.

The target has already been achieved for both the number of exhibitors and the amount of space sold. The organizers noted a significant increase in foreign delegations from. European countries (France, United Kingdom, Hungary ...), South American (Brazil, Argentina), Asia and Africa.

Countries and regions such as Russia, India, Sub-Saharan Africa, Turkey, Brazil, the Balkans are highly interested in buying technology and increasing the supply of fruits and vegetables from the Mediterranean.
