Marks & Spencer returns to France and plans to stores in Paris and its suburbs and a network of food supermarkets.
After the closure of its 18 French stores 10 years ago, Marks & Spencer has just made a comeback in Paris, where three other outlets are already planned.
The British retailer opened its first new store in French on the prestigious Avenue des Champs-Elysées. The store covers 1400 m2 and consists of 3 levels. Marks & Spencer has had
its online store running for several weeks and is also considering a network of food supermarkets in the capital.
Marks & Spencer will be target Paris and the suburbs. Stores for Levallois-Perret, the fifteenth arrondissement of Paris, and one near Roissy are expected by September 2013.
