Hortifrut announces large investment plan

Hortifrut plans huge investments between 2012 and 2016.

The Chilean producer and exporter Hortifrut will invest $95 million by 2016.

This project allows $15 million for the purchase of new fields in Chile, $25 million for "ready to eat

" products in Germany and the U.S., $5 million to open new markets, especially Brazil and Asia, and $50 million for raspberry and blueberry planting.
