This increase is partly attributed to the earlier season in northern and southern Peru due to climate change, such as Cyclone Yaku and El Niño. However, there is a possibility that this could have a negative impact in January or February. In addition, the growing demand from some Asian countries on the occasion of the Chinese New Year has contributed to this growth, since a large amount of grapes are consumed during this festival.
