Thai laboratories testing food products from Japan and those of neighboring countries.
Many Asian countries have started testing the Japanese food products for controlling a possible radioactive contamination.
Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines and India have ordered checks on imports of food and food products from Japan.
The tests are done on lots selected at random, and currently no products were found positive for radiation.
Thailand has extended the control of food imports ON neighboring countries such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and parts of China.
