Producers prefer the domestic market rather than export

Exports of grapes decreased according to the Ministry of Agriculture of the state of Maharashtra, the largest producer of grapes in the country.
The ministry noted that producers prefer to sell their products on the domestic market rather than export. Because payment is faster. Even if prices are lower on the local market, producers are paid quickly and do not have to wait at least a month to get the payment.
For producers, the price difference between the domestic market (about Rs 50 per kg) and export (between 60-65 Rs 65 per kg) is less relevant than the ability to recover the money from sales.
