Gigante is developing in the States

Gigante, the second food retailer in Mexico, is developing in California. The group, which could be bought-out by Carrefour or Ahold, currently runs three stores in the Los Angeles area and plans the opening of three more stores in South California. Gigante posted US$112,5 million sales last year.
