Good first quarter for AGCO

The world's third largest farm equipment maker, AGCO, had announced net profits of US$25 million for the first quarter 2004.
Sales were up to $1.1 billion, compared to $757 million for the first quarter in 2003, largely due to the acquisition of tractor company Valtra Group.
