Currant season has started in Ukraine

Based on the recent information, Ukrainian fruits producers have started sale season of currant this week in Ukraine. It stands to mention that despite long spring, farmers have started harvesting at the same period against last year. Recently harvested currant costs are 14% lower comparing to the previous season numbers. According to the local market analysts, this year average prices for currant are predicted to be comparatively low due to frutage of large number of newly planted currant. At the current moment, this kind of berries are available at approximately 0,7 – 0,98 EURO/kg within local market of Ukraine.
